Jefferson Mill is a 4-story brick mill building that was constructed right on the edge of the Merrimack river in 1886. Doctor of Physical Therapy

A signature program of Franklin Pierce University at Manchester is the Doctor of Physical Therapy. This degree is offered at our Manchester campus where we prepare students for all aspects of a career in physical therapy through hands-on work, clinical experience, lectures, and seminars in our state-of-the-art facility.

This two-and-a-half-year program includes 38 weeks of full-time clinical work, exploring courses derived from theoretical and scientific-based clinical applications that restore, maintain, and promote optimal physical function. Our students complete their clinicals at facilities in Manchester and in surrounding towns.

Our CAPTE-accredited DPT program will prepare you to work in hospitals, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, wellness and sports facilities, and private homes.

Franklin Pierce University’s School of Nursing and Nursing Faculty are headquartered at the Manchester Center. Designed for working nurses with an RN or nursing diploma, the School of Nursing offers the undergrad RN-BSN program 100% online. Graduate programs include Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with Leadership or Education concentrations, the MSN/Master of Business Administration Dual Degree, and post Graduate Certificate in Nursing Education, all offered 100% Online.

In addition, our signature Master’s Entry Program in Nursing (MEPN) program is designed for a college graduate with a bachelor’s degree or higher in another field.
